Bayley's Business Night Out 2022

On Thursday night, our Matamata and Te Aroha team went to the Bayleys Business Night Out, after being announced as finalists for two awards. The Professional Services Award and the Consumer Services Award. We are extremely honoured to have received not only the award for the Professional Services and Consumer Services, but we also received the Bayley's Supreme Business Award for 2022.

We are beyond proud of our team; our staff and trainers in all of our clubs for everything that they do for our members and for our community. These awards are recognition for the outstanding service they provide every single day, and the passion that they have for our purpose of providing a positive health and fitness experience to the rural communities of New Zealand. To be able to love what we do and know that it is having a positive effect on the lives of those in our communities... we are living the dream every day

Also a huge thank you and a HUGE congratulations to our Fitzone Director's Emma and Lennie Brooky You have put your heart and soul into Fitzone NZ since day one back in May 2016. You have embraced challenges and learning opportunities along the way, have always kept the purpose at the forefront of all decision making, and really have the passion that it takes to win such special awards like these ones. You always give credit to your staff and team, which they deserve, but just like them, it wouldn't be possible without you

Congratulations to all the other nominees and winners on the night It is so great to see such a strong business community in the Matamata-Piako region, with so many still thriving, even after some really tricky and unpredicatable times.

We had such a fun night thanks to the Matamata-Piako District Council, and everyone involved in the many tasks it takes to host such a wonderful evening! Including the lighting (amazing), the setting up, the serving, the technology, the photography, and so much more. We know there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes and we were very impressed

Thank you also to all of the sponsors for the night, the judges, the speakers, The Old Forge Kitchen for the amazing buffet, and especially the inspiring guest speaker Dr Paul Wood who told us his story. Dr Paul mentioned that in all the communities he has spoken in, he has never been to one with such a strong sense of community, and it is so humbling that we get to be a part of that

We are on cloud nine! Thank you to everyone that has been a part of Fitzone in any way over the past 6 years. We are so excited to keep learning, and keep growing! We are so blessed to be doing what we do in four towns already, but we are far from finished!

Ngā mihi, The Fitzone Team Bayleys Matamata #fitzonenz #businessnightout
