Whether you're new to exercise and not sure where to start, or a seasoned gym-goer who needs an extra boost of motivation – Our small group training sessions at Fitzone Matamata are a great way to accelerate your results.

Smaller group sessions (rather than large group fitness classes) means more targeted training. You get the benefits of one-on-one training in a supportive team environment, including an effective exercise program tailored to your fitness level. 

The best part is you will never get bored –At Fitzone Matamata we believe variety is the key if you want to see jaw-dropping results, so no two sessions are ever the same.

Classes are capped at 10 so trainers can offer you more individualised attention and push you beyond what you would in a bigger group scenario. All Fitness levels are welcome!! Book by calling reception so you don’t miss out.

HIIT FIT

HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING but just because you’re new to fitness doesn’t mean high-intensity interval training isn’t for you. Otherwise known as HIIT, these fast-paced workouts have been shown to torch tons of calories in a short amount of time — so you don’t need to spend hours in the gym. This type of training will have you alternating between periods of maximum effort and short recovery.

Circuit training is an excellent boredom buster! Whether you're cycling, running steps, jumping rope, doing squats, planks, or conditioning on the stability ball - your mind won't have time to wander, and your body will turn into a calorie burning machine! FULL BODY FUSION

Full Body Fusion class is a hybrid mix designed to torch calories, tone physique and emphasizes variety in the movements each week, so it’s never the same. There is a healthy mix of strength-training paired with cardio and pilates. This class is ideal for someone interested in a workout that is a little more dynamic compared to Yoga and offers the best of both worlds – flexibility and toning movements, as well as strength building. Weighted equipment is not utilized in the class, but we focus instead on our using own body weight and resistance training equipment. We emphasize low impact and low intensity training, which doesn't necessarily mean it's any less challenging. This class is perfect for someone who is looking to strengthen and tone all in one class.

 
SHOCKWAVE

Extreme cross training at its best. A total body circuit challenge combines the rowing machines for high intensity calorie burn with dynamic functional combinations on the outside circuits to sculpt and transform the body. Max effort and extreme results.

POWERZONE

Nothing makes you feel stronger than a mixture of explosive cardio and loaded weights designed to get you into your powerzone. So grab your partner and high five your way through this empowering circuit style functional class!
